Our experience in managing and marketing corporate real estate improves recovery of at-risk funds in a delinquent or foreclosed mortgage. Long before most Realtors active today even had their license, the Wilmoth team was serving banks, servicers, investors and outsourcers to manage, maintain, value and sell their foreclosed inventory. We handled our first REO property for Bank One in 1996. Through the years we have handled foreclosures for every major, and many smaller, default servicers and investors in America.
Our experience is not just a few REO’s a year. We average closings of 60-70 properties per month across Indiana and Florida. This level of volume has been the case for over 7 years! Since 1996, we have always closed a minimum of 30-50 files per month.
It was our long history of success and good relationships that provided the opportunity to take our REO operating model to Florida in 2007. One of our major clients understood and liked our high contact, deadline driven performance and asked if we could provide this service in another area. Already being licensed as a brokerage in Florida, and with the state’s large incoming foreclosure inventory, it was a perfect match.
Many brokerages find that the resources required to handle REO is just too complicated and expensive, even in their own back yard. By investing in this industry, and our own internal systems and growth, for so many years we are able to offer the Cadillac of REO brokerage services.
